I contacted Steve Schwartz in regards to the information a few sites have posted about The Host auditions already starting. Here is his reply:

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your interest in the project. We are currently developing the material
and so it’s a bit early to discuss casting, which won’t take place until we have a
completed screenplay. We have not assigned a casting director to this project, so
I’m afraid that information is not correct. Nor have we begun a search for actors to
play the roles.

In other words, don’t believe those sites saying this, and protect your information by not sending anything to addresses you might see! Forgive me for posting this information and leaving it up a short time before confirming it. I’ll be getting more details soon, so check back for more information on The Host, Stephenie Meyer’s critically acclaimed novel, now being turned into a movie.
